To identify port information to help configure firewalls between Security Manager 6.x components.

Cause

Security Manager communicates on a number of different TCP and UDP ports.

All SQL ports listed are the default ports.  Currently, if a named instance is used for SQL on the database or reporting servers, SQL Browser must be active for Security Manager to function properly.

The datasheet includes all ports and decriptions of the port usage.  It also includes Microsoft KB articles to help overcome the DCOM random port issue when using the Monitor and Development consoles across a firewall.
