Situation

Failed to open the file 'E:\Data\VULNERA~1\tmp\1214181810.out.0' for reading error received when running Oracle security checks.

Resolution

This issue is resolved by installing hotfix 71162 for the NetIQ Security Agent for Windows, which can be found using the link below.

Cause

The provider is multithreaded and different threads try to access the same file at the same time because the file names are not random enough. Therefore, the threads have file name collisions and try to access the same file at the same time.
