Situation
[microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver] [DNETLIB] SQL Server does not exist or access is denied error message when logging in.
Resolution
To resolve this issue create an alias on the Core Services machine that uses TCP/IP.
1) Open Windows Explorer and go to the System32 diretory.
2) Locate the CLICFG.exe file and execute it.
3) Specify a new data source
Cause
tThe database is able to receive a connection from Core Services however the console login is failing. The ODBC connection is trying to use the DNETLIB instead of TCP/IP for SQL authentication.
