What types of Windows Server 2008 domain controllers can DRA land an Agent on?

Can DRA lang the agent on all types of Windows 2008 Domain Controllers?

Will the DRA Agent land on Windows 2008 Read-Only DC's?

Will the DRA Agent land on Windows 2008 Server Core DC's?

Resolution

There are 3 types of Windows Server 2008 domain controllers:

  1. Normal DCs (Writable DCs)
  2. Server core DCs (Promoting a Server Core server (where you can see only command prompt as a UI) to a Domain controller)
  3. Read only DCs

DRA currently only supports installing the DRA Agent on the writable 2008 DCs.

As of DRA Version 8.6 SP1, the DRA Agent is no longer used. The functionality of the agent has been reorganized into other parts of DRA.
