Problem installing AppManager 7.0.1 chart console (NETIQKB70810)

Environment

NetIQ AppManager 6.x
NetIQ AppManager 7.0.x

Situation

Problem installing AppManager 7.0.1 chart console.


Chart console always prompts for install of the Chart Components but the install never seems to complete properly.

Resolution

Disable the IE Addon AMVersionChecker Class.

With Internet Explorer open do the following:

  1. Click on Tools -> Manage Add-ons -> Enable or Disable Add-ons
  2. In the drop down box select: Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer
  3. Select AMVersionCheckClass
  4. Below the list is the settings option. Selct Diable
  5. Click OK

The Chart Components will should now install and the proper web page should be viewable.

Internet Explorer Addon AMVersionChecker Class installed.
