Resolution
To add the *AUTFAIL auditing option to system value QAUDLVL, use command WRKSYSVAL QAUDLVL, use option 2 to change it, and specify *AUTFAIL as an additional auditing option.
You can also use the product interface: PSMENU, options 1, 1, 7, and 4, select *AUTFAIL with option 1, press Enter, then F3.
Cause
System value QAUDLVL does not specify auditing option *AUTFAIL.
