Environment

NetIQ AppManager 6.x
NetIQ AppManager 7.0.x

Situation

After running AMAdmin_SetResDependency job against a node the node still shows to be inactive even though it owns the resources specified in the job
Node still shows (inactive) after running a SetResDependency job against it

Resolution

Make sure the syntax is properly formatted for the value of the dependent resources.  There should be a colon (:) seperating each resource once the value is entered into the job.

Cause

The syntax of the resources as they are listed in the job is incorrect.  When making changes to the Values tab of the job, for resource dependencies, each resource should be seperated by a colon (:)
