Situation

Symptom: The swap profile does not take effect for RMTCMD server rules.

Symptom: The swap profile specified in secured entry is not working.
Symptom: Remote transactions are not using the swap profile specified in the rules.

Resolution

Fix: To allow RRM to use the swap profile, the exit point corresponding to the secured entry must be in secured mode.

To secure the exit point:

  1. Use RRM option "Work With Exit Points".
  2. Use option 2 to edit the exit point.
  3. Specify *YES for 'Secured'.

Cause

Cause: The exit point corresponding to the secured entry (access rule) is not in secured mode.

Cause: The exit point related to the secured entry specifies *NO for 'Secured'.

Note: Securing an exit point may cause transactions related to the exit point to fail for some users if secured entries (rules) do not exist to allow those users' transactions to pass the RRM authorization check.
