Situation

Can DRA automatically rename the Primary SMTP address of a user account if it is renamed?

How do I configure DRA to automatically rename Primary SMTP address for user accounts if they are renamed?

Are there any Proxy generation rules in DRA that will automatically rename or replace the Primary SMTP address for renamed Users?

Resolution

No.  Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) does not currently have the ability to automatically rename an existing user's Primary SMTP address if the user account is renamed.  The user propery page for a user will allow an Assitant Admin to change the Email address for a user. This will then create an additional SMTP address, allowing the user to recive mail to both addresses.
