Situation

Goal: What is job PSECA in subsystem ZPSE?

Resolution

Fix: Job PSECA in subsystem ZPSE is the v8.0 NetIQ iSeries Common Agent for Secure Configuration Manager, formerly NetIQ Vulnerability Manager.

Job PSECA is defined as an autostart job entry in subsystem description ZPSE in library PSCOMMON.

Job PSECA will only exist after group ptf G1C03002 is applied (It is necessary to install OS licensed programs PASE and QSHELL to install this ptf).

The initial PSECA job starts when ZPSE subsystem is started; This is the common agent daemon.

If the deamon receives a request, it will submit another PSECA job which processes the custom check request from SCM.
