Error installing Group Policy Administrator on SQL 2005 Enterprise Edition.
Error installing Group Policy Administrator on SQL 2000 SP4 Enterprise Edition.

"To complete this installation you must be a member of the SQL Server Sysadmin role. Please add your user account to the Sysadmin role and then continue with the installation. Alternatively, log on to this computer with a user account that is a member of the Sysadmin role to perform the installation."
cause
The issue is not the SQL 2000/2005 'Sysadmin Role', but the named pipes. By default named pipes is disabled in SQL 2005. Also, the GPA console must use the default instance for SQL, not a named instance. This error can also occur if a named instance is being used where the GPA Console is being installed.
fix
Enable Named Pipes and make sure to use the default instance in SQL.
