A warning message appears when launching the Delegation and Configuration console: An error occurred when adding or removing a user to a tempoary group assignment.


All that is necessary for the AA is to reschedule the Temporary Group Assignment job to kick off after a few minutes - once the cache refresh is complete.


This error occurs when the scheduled time of addition (or removal) of the user to the group coincides with an accounts cache refresh on the server wherein the cache is locked. Based on the scheduled frequency of the accounts cache refresh and the scheduled time of the Temporary Group Assignment, it is likely to have a scenario wherein jobs both get kicked off at the same time. Since the cache is locked, no edits are possible - which leads to the failure of the Temporary group assignment job.
