User interface pages created within Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) do not have the ability to enforce specific character placement. User interface pages do not utilize the ?, #, and * wildcards to correspond to matching characters, digits, or special characters, as detailed in NETIQKB33312: "What are some recommendations for the user of wildcards when creating ActiveView rules?".

An Enhancement Request has been opened to include this functionality in a future version of Directory and Resource Administrator.
