Resolution

Fact

Directory and Resource Administrator 7.x
Directory and Resource Administrator 8.0
Directory and Resource Administrator 8.0 SP1

Symptom

Error: 'The Assistant Admin does not have enough powers to run this 'OUMoveHere' operation.'

Unable to move objects from one OU to another.

Cause

The scope of the objects being acted upon is spread out among two or more ActiveViews, rather than being defined within one ActiveView.

Fix

The ActiveView needs to contain rules for all possible organizational units (OUs) on which Assistant Admins will use the Move Object to OU power. If you define the scope of the objects within more than one ActiveView, this issue will occur because even though you defined the Move Object to OU power within each ActiveView, the scope of the objects is ActiveView-specific.  This error will occur if the source OU and the target OU are not defined within a single ActiveView.

To resolve this issue, ensure the ActiveView contains the entire scope of the OUs on which Assistant Admins will use the Move Object to OU power (both source and target).
