Situation

Are there any performance issues for DRA when running an import for the DRA Reporting Tool?
Running an import for the Access-based DRA Reporting tool impacts performance in DRA.

Resolution

Running the import for DRA Reporting does have an impact on performance for the DRA server the import is being run on.  The length of the decreased performace is related to the number of objects being imported and the number of domains being queried.  For this reason, it is recommended that Reporting imports be run off-hours or on a DRA server dedicated for reporting purposes only.

Beginning in DRA version 8.5, reporting is no longer Access-based.  The new DRA reporting will be SQL-based.
