The Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) 8.0 client consoles should not be installed on a DRA 7.5 server. 

Although the DRA 8.0 client consoles can connect to DRA 7.5 servers (and vice versa), both client console versions cannot coexist on the same server at the same time.  If you install the DRA 8.0 client consoles on a DRA 7.5 server, the 8.0 client consoles will  overwrite the 7.5 client consoles.  Client consoles on this server will no longer be able to operate. 

DRA 8.0 Client consoles can be installed in the environment, but they should not be installed on 7.5 servers unless they are being installed during the server upgrade to 8.0.
