Yes, you can change the risk scoring distribution levels in a policy template report. When you run a security checkup report, Vulnerability Manager displays a pie chart showing the distribution of endpoints in each risk score range. By default, Vulnerability Manager assigns the risk scoring distribution levels shown in the following table:
Risk Scoring Level | Risk Score Range |
Low Risk | 0 - 100 |
Medium Risk | 101 - 200 |
High Risk | 201 or higher |
Using the Policy Template Wizard, you can change the default risk scoring levels of an existing or new policy template.
To change the risk scoring levels of a policy template:
- Open Vulnerability Manager.
- In the tree pane, expand Security Knowledge > Policy Templates.
- If you want to create a new policy template with custom risk scoring levels:
- Click My Templates.
- In the Actions menu, select New Policy Template. Follow the instructions in the Policy Template Wizard.
- On the Properties tab, select the appropriate risk severity range.
- Type the lowest risk score you want to include in the range in the Lowest Score field.
- Enter other appropriate template information and click Finish.
- If you want to edit the risk scoring levels of an existing policy template:
- Click the appropriate policy template folder.
- In the Actions menu, select Edit.
- On the Properties tab, select the appropriate risk severity range.
- Type the lowest risk score you want to include in the range in the Lowest Score field.
- Click Save As to save a copy of the template.
