AppManager for Unix 6.5
Red Hat Linux
DNS was updated, but the AppManager agent still cannot communicate with the assigned Management Server (MS).
The agent must be restarted, but not cold-started, to acknowledge the change in name server lookups. Restart the Unix agent by issuing the commands:
- nqmdaemon stop
- nqmdaemon start
The Unix agent does not handle all IP address changes of the management server during runtime.
The UNIX agent must be restarted if /etc/hosts or DNS has been modified.
