Situation
DNS was updated, but the AppManager agent still cannot communicate with the assigned Management Server (MS).
Resolution
The agent must be restarted, but not cold-started, to acknowledge the change in name server lookups. Restart the Unix agent by issuing the commands:
- nqmdaemon stop
- nqmdaemon start
Cause
The Unix agent does not handle all IP address changes of the management server during runtime.
