Situation

My user message queue has a message from job PSPROFILE stating "You must be enrolled in system distribution directory to submit User Profile Management. See the system command WRKDIRE."
Inactive user profiles are not being disabled or deleted by the PSSecure UPM PSPROFILE job.

Resolution


To enroll the user profile that runs the PSPROFILE job in the SNADS system distribution directory, type the following command on the iSeries command line, and press Enter.

ADDDIRE    USRID(userprofile server) USRD(description) USER(userprofile)

where userprofile is the name of the user profile that runs the PSPROFILE job, server is the system name of the iSeries server, and description is a description of the user profile.



Cause

The user profile that runs the PSPROFILE job is not enrolled in SNADS system distribution directory.
