The backup location list contains only a single entry, even though multiple locations are used for GPO backups.

symptom
The location list in the Backup GPO wizard displays only the last path used for backing up a GPO.

cause

GPA currently stores only the last backup folder in %WINDIR%\win.ini and not the complete list as in the registry.  The Backup GPO wizard does not use the MRU list; it displays only the last backup folder, stored in the win.ini file.

fix

The Backup GPO wizard initially displays only the last backup folder, stored in the win.ini file. You can use the Browse button to add folders to the list.  When you close the dialog, the currently selected list item will again be stored in the win.ini file.

An enhancement request has been submitted for the list to display all items from the registry key HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Group Policy Management Console\MRU\BackupFolder.
