You can create a subfolder under any of the existing operating system subfolders in the My Checks folder.  To create a subfolder, you must create a new security check using the Security Check Wizard.

To create a new My Checks subfolder:

1. Open Vulnerability Manager.
2. In the tree pane, expand NetIQ Vulnerability Manager > Security Knowledge > My Checks.
3. Select My Checks, and in the Actions menu click New Security Check to launch the Security Check Wizard.
4. Select the appropriate platform and click Next.
5. Select any attributes that you want the completed check to return and click Next.
6. Specify any filters you want and click Next.
7. Specify any parameters that are needed to complete the check and click Next.
8. Adjust the scoring method to your preference and click Next.
9. On the Properties tab, click Edit Categories.
10. In the Customize Categories window, click Add.
11. Specify a name for the new subfolder and click OK.
12. On the Properties tab, specify any other settings as necessary and click Next.
13. Review the summary and click Finish.

Deleting all security checks in a user-created subfolder deletes the subfolder.
