cause
NetIQ Technical Support has identified a known issue that results in a performance issue related to dropping multiple jobs on the UNIX agent version 6.5 using Knowledge Script Groups.

fix

NetIQ Corporation has corrected this issue with the release of Hotfix 53538.  This hotfix is recommended for all users running AppManager UNIX agent version 6.5 on all UNIX platforms with AppManager version 6.0.2. This hotfix updates the netiqms.exe file.

To install the hotfix:

  1. Download the installation package https://download.netiq.com/KnowledgeDepot/AM/Hotfixes/Recommended/AM602_Hotfix53538.zip .
  2. Extract the contents of the downloaded package (AM602_Readme53538.htm and  AM602_Hotfix53538_Setup.exe ) to a selected folder.
  3. Run the hotfix setup program, AM602_Hotfix53538_Setup.exe, on all the AppManager version 6.0.2 or later computers.
