Situation

Unable to reset a user account password from the SPA website.

Error: 'Unable to reset password due to a pre-task trigger failure.'

Cannot change password because of trigger failure.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, modify the trigger so that it can be successfully executed, or disable the trigger. You can determine the name of the trigger that is failing by looking in the Application log.

Cause

There is a pre-task trigger in DRA associated with the UserSetInfo operation which cannot be successfully executed.
