Environment

NetIQ AppManager 6.x

Situation

The console does not display events when using the Not Equal To filter.
Filtering does not work properly.

Resolution

To resolve the issue:
  1. Download the installation package from https://download.netiq.com/KnowledgeDepot/AM/Hotfixes/Recommended/AMCC603_Hotfix53087.exe
  2. Extract the contents of the download package.
  3. Ensure that the Control Center console is not running.
  4. Run the hotfix setup program, AMCC603_Hotfix53087_Setup.exe, on all AppManager Control Center version 6.0.3 computers.
  5. Navigate to the event views. Create an event view with filter condition Not Equal To. The event view now displays the events matching the new filter criteria.

This hotfix replaces the NQCCUtils.dll, NQUtils.dll, and NQShared.dll files in the \NetIQ\AppManager\Control Center\bin directory.

Cause

NetIQ Technical Support has determined that Control Center has an issue with the way new data is merged into an existing view and has provided Hotfix 53087 to resolve the issue.
