Directory and Resource Administrator 7.x
Directory and Resource Administrator 8.0
Error: The directory service can perform the requested operation only on a leaf object.
Error: The object 'ouname' could not be deleted. DRA can perform the requested operation only on a leaf object.
Unable to delete an OU.
You cannot delete an organizational unit (OU) if the OU contains user, group, contact or computer objects or other OUs.
You cannot delete an OU without first removing the objects (called leaf objects) within the OU. Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) checks to make sure there are no objects in an OU before processing a delete command. If there are visible or hidden objects in the OU, DRA generates an error. This behavior is by design. The error message DRA generates mimics the behavior of native tools like Active Directory Users and Computers (ADU&C).
