symptom
RSoP Analsyis reports do not display correct RSoP information if you select Group Membership Analysis what-if rules in the What-If Rules area.

cause

This is a known issue that occurs when you use GPA to run an RSoP Analysis report for a user that is a member of a nested security group and you select the following options in the RSoP Wizard:

  • On the Contributing GPOs section, you select the Offline RSoP and Impact Analysis option.
  • On the Impact Analysis section, in the What-If Rules area, you select any of the Group Membership Analysis what-if rules.

If you select these options when you use GPA to run an RSoP Analysis report for a user that is a member of a nested security group, GPA RSoP Analysis reports do not display correct RSoP information.
