fact
NetIQ Group Policy Administrator 5.0

symptom
Group Policy Administrator cannot find user accounts when running analysis.

symptom

Error: "Unable to find user account at: LDAP://DCName.DomainName.com/CN=LastName,\,Firstname,OU=OUName,DC=DCName,DC=DomainName,DC=com"

symptom
Error: "The user may have been moved or deleted."

symptom
Unable to rerun saved RSoP analysis on user accounts with a "/" character in the display name.

cause
This issue is caused by a "/" character in the "User Logon Name" field of a user account.

fix

This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the next release of NetIQ Group Policy Administrator.

The workaround for this issue is to delete the old RSoP report and run the RSoP wizard again for the user/computer pair to generate a brand new report.
