Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) automation policies do not currently apply to User Interface Extensions (custom pages).  As a workaround, use a drop-down list in the User Interface Extension page properties with the values populated in the desired format and set the custom page to "required."

An Enhancement Request has been opened with Development to include this functionality in a future version of Directory and Resource Administrator.
