fix
You cannot use a 32-bit console to connect directly to a Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) server from an unmanaged and untrusted domain, because the user account cannot be authenticated with an account that DRA recognizes.
If you are able to connect to a managed domain and authenticate with a remote access connection, you can then use the 32-bit consoles. You can connect to a managed domain by using a terminal server client or remote desktop client connection to a server or workstation in that domain and then use a 32-bit DRA console installed on that computer.
Alternatively, you can access the DRA Web Console from any remote location or unmanaged domain if the DRA Web site allows basic authentication.
To access the Web Console:
- Type
http://ServerName/dra
in the address field of your Web browser, whereServerName
is the name of the appropriate DRA server. - Log on with your user name, domain name, and password when prompted.
If you have permissions in DRA, you will then be able to access the Web Console.
note
For more information on the DRA Web Console, see the Directory and Resource Administrator User Guide.
