symptom

Unlike native tools, there is no option in the Exchange General Properties for a user account to allow email only from authenticated users.

cause
The user interface does not currently have the capability to restrict received email to only those messages sent by authenticated users.

fix

Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) does not currently support the ability to restrict received email to only those messages sent by authenticated users.

An Enhancement Request has been opened with Development to include this functionality in a future version of Directory and Resource Administrator.
