fix

By default, Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) selects the Domain Admins group for adding computers to a domain in the computer creation wizard.  Aside from this default selection, DRA does not provide a way to bypass the group or account entry in the wizard.  Native tools (ADU&C) also require entry of group or account credentials to join a computer to a domain.  However, the NetIQ Knowledge Depot contains a script which automatically sets the group for joining the computer in a Windows 2000 domain to a pre-determined, specific group. Search for the script ComputerJoin.vbs under Trigger & Policy Scripts at:

Example scripts that are provided on NetIQ's Knowledge Depot or referenced in Knowledge Base articles are offered on an "as is" basis, and are not part of the supported product set. Customers should be aware that issues that may arise from their use are not supported by NetIQ Technical Support.
