cause
NetIQ Technical Support has determined that the installation program does not properly register the UNIX agent service script as a system service to run at startup.
fix
Make sure you have a properly configured Unix agent service by entering the command:
chkconfig --list nqmdaemon
If you have a properly configured entry, the command will return results similar to:
nqmdaemon 0:off 1:off 2:on 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off
If nqmdaemon
is not listed as a service or if all run levels are off, enter the following command:
chkconfig --add nqmdaemon
You must have the UNIX agent installed to control the service script with chkconfig.
