Managed UNIX computers with multiple network interface cards (NICs) with unique IP addresses

Situation

Cannot attach an IP address to an agent with the -H option.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, apply the hotfix described in the NetIQ Knowledge Base article NETIQKB51991 at www.netiq.com/kb/esupport/consumer/esupport.asp?id=NETIQKB51991.



Cause

NetIQ Technical Support has determined that this issue is a known problem in the AppManager components listed in this article.
