When performing a diagnostic, receiving error: 'CHR0401: Vivinet Diagnostics could not discover a Performance Endpoint near phone or voice gateway xx.xx.xx.xx with subnet mask 255.255.xx.xx.'
To resolve this issue perform the following
- Install an endpoint in the phone?s subnet or in the subnet of a POTS phone?s voice gateway and run the Diagnosis again to receive better diagnostic information.
- Make sure port 10115, used for endpoint communications, is allowed through the firewall.
This could be caused due to the following:
- No endpoints are installed and running in the phone?s subnet or in the subnet of the phone?s voice gateway.
- A firewall between the Vivinet Diagnostics Console and the subnet is blocking port 10115.
