Vivinet Assessor 3.2

Situation

Vivinet Assessor installation fails and rolls back.

Once the installation reaches 95%, it fails then puts the configuration back to where it was before installing.

Resolution

To disable fast user switching:

  1. Click Start> Settings> Control Panel.
  2. Click User Accounts.
  3. Disable Change way users log on and off to this machine.

Cause

MSDE has an issue installing on a Windows XP computer that has fast user switching enabled.
