When upgrading to NetIQ Security Solutions for iSeries version 8.0, what value do I use for system value QFRCCVNRST?

fix

You must set system value QFRCCVNRST to 1 when upgrading to NetIQ Security Solutions for iSeries version 8.0.

To ensure QFRCCVNRST is set to 1:

  1. Type DSPSYSVAL QFRCCVNRST and press Enter.
  2. If QFRCCVNRST is not set to 1, type CHGSYSVAL QFRCCVNRST VALUE('1') on the command line and press Enter.
  3. After you have completed the upgrade, you can reset system value QFRCCVNRST to the original value.
