Environment

NetIQ AppManager 6.x

Situation

Netcool connector does not forward events.
Some events are not being propagated from Netcool to AppManager.
Reinstalled Netcool connector.

Resolution

Change the following registry key to 1 (enabled) on the Management Server where the Netcool Connector is installed:

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Netiq\AMNCServer\Filter\other

Restart the Management Server service to implement the changes.

Cause

Registry key setting to forward events for custom or renamed scripts is turned off.
