Error: 'MCH4431: Program signature violation.'

symptom
NetIQ program signature violation occurred while running command PSECONFIG.

symptom
PSECONFIG specifies a signature which is not supported by service program QYPPSL510.

cause
Error MCH4431 occurs when you are running OS/400 version V5R1 without the most current IBM PTFs. Service program QYPPSL510 is not compatible with the PSECONFIG command in library PSCOMMON.

fix
Update your operating system with the latest IBM cumulative PTF or contact NETIQ Technical Support.
