Security Manager 5.1

Error: 'Directory does not exist C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NetIQ\DASLogs. Source: Generic single-line log file.'

Auditing fails.


Security Manager looks for the default All Users profile directory in C:\Documents and Settings\, but the profile is actually located in a directory other than the default location.


To change where Security Manager looks for the All Users profile:

  1. In the Development Console, expand Advanced > Providers.
  2. Double-click Security Manager Audit Log.
  3. Select the Directories tab.
  4. Double-click the current data to edit.
  5. Change the directory to:   %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\NetIQ\DASLogs
  6. Click OK until all configuration windows are closed.
  7. Restart the NetIQ Security Manager service on the central computer.
