Object Authority Management (OAM)

Situation

The OAM Non-Compliance report and compliance job fails when run using the STROAMAPI command.

Resolution

If you are running VigilEnt Security Agent for iSeries version 7.5, download PTF 1S02003 to resolve this issue.

If you are running NetIQ Security Solutions for iSeries version 8.0, download PTF 1S03002 to resolve this issue.

These PTFs allow the Object Authority Management (OAM) Non-Compliance Report and compliance job to run using the STROAMAPI command regardless of the QSECOFR user profile status.

Cause

Setting profile QSECOFR to *DISABLED causes the Non-Compliance Report and compliance job to fail.
