fix

The Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) Account and Resource Management (ARM) console displays the Name, Location and Description columns by default when searching for User objects.  DRA has the ability to add additional columns to search by, including User Logon Name.  However, after adding the User Logon Name column to the ARM console, User objects for NT4 domains can not be found searching on this field.  The User Logon Name actually translates to "Pre-Windows 2000 name" for NT4 domains.  Add this column to your display and search by it instead.

To add either the User Logon Name or Pre-Windows 2000 Name column to your display:

  1. In the Account and Resource Management console, expand All My Managed Objects.
  2. Select your managed domain.
  3. On the right window pane, right-click the Name column header and click Choose Columns.
  4. Check the User Logon Name or Pre-Windows 2000 Name column.
  5. Click OK.

The User Logon Name and/or Pre-Windows 2000 Name column is now added to the column list for this view.
