Directory and Resource Administrator 7.5

symptom
Secondary servers do not display the correct synchronized date.

When viewing the last synchronized time and date for Administration servers, times are not consistent.

symptom
Error: "A replication task is already running, try again after some time" when attempting to manually synchronize Administration servers.

cause
The Admin Console file or User Console file is corrupt.

fix

When the information in the Admin Console file or User Console file gets corrupted, it sends incorrect information to the DRA Server.

To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:

  1. Close all the Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) User Interface windows.

  2. Delete the AdminConsole and UserConsole files from the Documents and Settings\ServiceAccountName\Local Settings\Application Data\NetIQ\DRA directory.

  3. Launch the Delegation & Configuration console and expand Account & Resource Management.

  4. Under All My Managed Objects, select your primary managed domain.

  5. Perform a search for Users.

  6. Close and reopen the Delegation & Configuration console. The User Interface automatically selects your domain.

  7. Launch the Account and Resource Management console.

  8. Under All My Managed Objects, select your primary managed domain.

  9. Perform a search for Users.

  10. Close and reopen the Account and Resource Management console. The User Interface automatically selects your domain.
