Situation
An error is generated when a job starts on the agent. Error: 'MC is not running in the same encryption mode as MS.'
Resolution
Increase the value in the MaxRpcSize key to allow the packets through. Although AppManager does not require a specific value, the key is often used to prevent denial-of-service attacks. You must set the value based on the needs of your environment.
Cause
The MaxRpcSize value in registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SOFTWARE | Microsoft | Rpc is too low to allow some RPC packets to leave the agent machine.
