To remotely deploy the 5.0 Agent:

  1. On a computer that is not your core services computer, start the Remote Deployment Wizard Installation by running RemoteSetup.exe, in the  ..\Full\Vulnerability Manager Agent\RInstall folder on your NetIQ Vulnerability Manager 5.0 CD or downloaded files.
  2. Follow the instructions in the Remote Deployment Wizard Installation to install the remote deployment components.
  3. Click Start > All Programs > NetIQ VigilEnt Security Agents > VSA for Windows.
  4. Double-click Remote Deployment to start the NetIQ Remote Deployment Wizard.
  5. Follow the instructions in the NetIQ Remote Deployment Wizard Installation to install the agent.
