Before installing the RRM Plug-in for iSeries Navigator, you must determine which language code the installed version of iSeries Navigator uses.

To determine which language code your iSeries Navigator uses:

  1. On your PC, browse to the directory where you installed Client Access. The default directory is C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access.
  2. Find the directory that starts with MRI.
  3. Note the last four digits in the directory name. These four digits are the language code used by iSeries Navigator. For example, directory MRI2931 has a language code of 2931.

To install the RRM Plug-in for iSeries Navigator on non-English versions of iSeries Navigator, you must ensure the VigilEnt Security Agent for iSeries or NetIQ Security Solutions for iSeries product uses the correct language code.

To enable the correct language code:

  1. Navigate to the IFS on the iSeries server where the VigilEnt Security Agent for iSeries or NetIQ Security Solutions for iSeries product is installed.
  2. Access directory Qibm\UserData\Guiplugin\PENTASAFE.SECURITY.
  3. Rename directory MRI2924 to MRINNNN, where NNNN is the language code used by the installed version of iSeries Navigator. For example, if the installed version of iSeries Navigator has a language code of 2931, rename directory MRI2924 to MRI2931.
  4. Install the Plug-in for iSeries Navigator.
