Situation

Analysis Center cannot import data collected on an individual CPU performance by the NT_CPULoaded Knowledge Script.

Analysis center only shows data for one CPU, even for computers with multiple processors.

Resolution

To manually import a legend file into Analysis Center:

  1. Download the updated legend file from https://download.netiq.com/kb/files/NETIQKB48553_NT.LEGEND.XML.
  2. Save the file on your Analysis Center server that houses the Data Warehouse component.
  3. From a command prompt, use the XMLCheckIn utility located in Analysis Center\bin to check in the new legend. For example:

XmlCheckIn NT.LEGEND.XML

In the Analysis Center Console, verify the data is available in Analysis Center.

Cause

The XML template used to upload collected data did not include data collection for individual CPU performance. NetIQ Technical Support has provided an updated legend file for the NT Managed Object that includes assignment of data for Individual CPU Performance data.
