How do I upgrade an automatically deployed Security Manager 5.1 agent to SP 1 when the console user interfaces are installed on the same machine?

Event 31203 reported when trying to install SP 1 for Security Manager 5.1.
Agent does not show up under Pending Agents > Installation after I apply SP 1 for SM 5.1 to my central computer and perform a managed computer scan.
The Security Manager console on the agent machine is older than the version currently installed on the central computer.
Before you can upgrade an agent on a machine that has a Security Manager console installed, you must first upgrade the console.
To upgrade the consoles and then the agent:
SM51000_SP1.exefrom an agent machine that has a console installed.
- Complete the steps in the installation wizard to upgrade the console.
- Perform a Managed Computer Scan on the central computer. Verify the agent machine is listed in the
Pending Agents > Installationfolder in the Monitor console.
- Right-click the agent.
- Click Approve.
- Right-click the Installation folder.
- Click Install All Approved Agents Now to push out the updates for the agent.
To verify the version of the agent, click Infrastructure Components > Agents and scroll over to the version column.
