ActiveView Management is missing for all built-in DRA Administration accounts.

symptom
The Delegation Management node in the Delegation and Configuration console is missing.

The Policy and Automation Management entry is not displayed in the Delegation and Configuration user interface.

DRA Administrators can no longer manage ActiveViews or Policies.

Members of DRA Admins can no longer view all nodes in the Delegation and Configuration console.

cause
The DRA service account or entries in the Built-In DRA Admins Assistant Admin Group have been removed from the Built-In DRA Admins Assistant Admin Group. The accounts are then removed from the All Objects Built-In ActiveView and are no longer Administrators in DRA.

fix

To restore the DRA Service Account in the DRA Admins group:

1. Click Start> Run to launch a command prompt on the Primary DRA server.
2. Change to the DRA directory, located at C:\Program Files\NetIQ\DRA by default.
3. Type the following command to add the DRA Service account back to the DRA Admins Assistant Admin group: 

eaadminconfig /add <domain>\<DRA Service Account> 

4. Restart the NetIQ Administration Service. The DRA Service Account will then be able to add membership back to the DRA Admins group.
5. Use the DRA Service Account to launch the Delegation and Configuration console.
6. Add missing Assistant Admins or Assistant Admin groups back to the DRA Admins Assistant Admin group.
