Resolution

goal
When I edit an NT4 user account, I can add custom extensions. I thought Windows NT4 did not support custom user interface extension pages.

goal
Why does the console let me add custom user interface extension pages for Windows NT 4 user accounts?

fact
Directory and Resource Administrator 7.5

symptom
Directory and Resource Administrator creates and displays custom user interface extension pages on user objects that are part of a Windows NT 4 domain even though NT 4 does not support custom user interface extension pages.

symptom
DRA creates and displays custom user interface extension pages on user objects that are part of a Windows NT 4 domain even though NT 4 does not support custom user interface extension pages.  This hotfix resolves this issue by disabling the ability to create custom user interface extension pages for any users, groups, and computers that are part of an NT 4 domain.

cause
The console is incorrectly enabling custom user interface pages for Windows NT 4 accounts.
