NetIQ Group Policy Administrator 4.6
Group Policy Administrator (GPA) reports list the same accounts multiple times under the Local Policies / User Rights section.
Group Policy Administrator (GPA) differential reports using a table format do not show a difference for File and Registry machine security sections if the Allow, Deny, Success, or Failure status is different.
The issue is due to the XML conversion to HTML not translating the accounts correctly.
This issue is addressed in NetIQ Group Policy Administrator version 4.6 Hotfix 47214.
This hotfix addresses an issue with how the Group Policy Administrator (GPA) console displays information in reports. In GPO differential reports, the Local Policies/User Rights Assignments section of the report sometimes displays the same account multiple times. Other GPA reports may display incorrect ACL information. This hotfix corrects these reporting discrepancies.
To install this hotfix, perform the following steps on each computer where you installed the GPA Console:
- Close all GPA user interfaces.
- Run the GPA46000_Hotfix47214.exe file.
This hotfix modifies the following files:
By default, these files are located in the Program Files\NetIQ\Group Policy Administrator 4.6 folder.
